Steve is responsible for large scale projects and overseeing several personnel during the duration of the project we have been awarded to complete. Steve has been involved in large commercial electrical service upgrades, large scale generator and UPS system upgrades and critical night work projects that require a lot of planning and coordination. Congratulations Steve thanks for your great work and aggressive effort. Keep it up! Senior Airman Jesse Younkin of the 179th recently returned from deployment. REI Telecom outgrew its Groveport office last year and built a new 13,000 sq.ft. building in nearby Canal Winchester, Ohio. Our new office and warehouse allowed us to install a new state-of-the-art training center that is being used to teach and educate our current and newest REI employees.
Many people of have asked about our old Groveport offices. In November of last year, REI Telecom President, Tim Roehrenbeck, and Columbus Alliance Soccer Club Director, Randall Gibson, signed a lease that would allow the soccer club to open its very own training center. Our old Groveport office is now the new home for the soccer club, and the Alliance Center for Athletic Excellence. The club installed synthetic turf in the back 4,000 sq.ft. area of the warehouse, and is using the front area for club offices and class rooms. Mr. Gibson says the new space will allow his club to further develop its players even when the weather outside will not permit. The club is also very excited about the new classrooms and hopes that this will open up a whole new way of teaching, and allow players the opportunity to understand the game of soccer on a higher level. For more information about the soccer club, please visit their website at www.columbusalliancesc.com. The first of the year brings many new resolutions and other changes.
